Talking about dressing mistakes, Am not actually Talking about wearing an outing that ranks You the worsed-dressed person in the occasion or the place You find yourself if people were to judge. But rather Talking about Some dressing habits that spoils your style. Can be a long-held habits you refuse to break, fashion clichés you still believe are true, and small things you’re avoiding—or doing—that can wreak havoc on your personal style.
Here are 12 common out of the numerous dressing mistakes you always fell guilty of.
1. You dont tailor your clothes
This is undoubtedly one of the biggest fashion mistakes a person can make. Think about it: We’re all built differently, so mass-produced clothing won’t fit us all the same way. Having a tailor tweak hemlines, seams, sleeve lengths, even taking in too-wide garments can be the difference between looking fine and looking absolutely impeccable all the time.
2. You dont pay attention to details
One of the most common dressing mistakes I see is when women fail to pay attention to details. Over worn heels never look good when you’re walking. If the soles of your shoes need to be repaired, it’s worth hiring a shoe cobbler. Make sure your heel tips aren’t worn down either otherwise you can damage your shoes. And pay attention to tags sticking out or threads coming through tops that need trimming. Failing to do so can look very rudimentary.
3. You Think Short Girls Can’t Wear Maxi Skirts
It’s common fashion folklore that small women simply can’t wear floor-grazing skirts and dresses, but luckily that’s been proven entirely false. In fact, a well-cut maxi skirt can actually give you the appearance of looking taller, as evidenced by petite gals, like Rachel Bilson, Rachel Zoe, and Mary-Kate Olsen. Choose solid versions that skim the length of your body, which will create a long, vertical line (forego anything with thick pleats or too many layers). Be sure to keep your top fitted—a tucked-in T-shirt and a cropped leather jacket, for example—so as to not drown in fabric. Also, make sure the skirt’s hemline is as long as you can go without tripping, and add a pair of wedges or heels underneath.
4. You Wear Wrong Types of Undergarments
I will to say a lot here cos its really a point we gurls are always missing. It is essential to wear the proper fitting undergarments to ensure that the clothes that you layer on top of them flatter your overall look. Therefore, it is important to make sure that you’re wearing the correct bra size. Take some time one day or on a weekend to go through your lingerie collection. While sorting your current underclothes inventory, evaluate each piece by asking the following questions:
(1) Does this item look seamless under my clothes, and
(2) Do I feel confident in how I look and feel while wearing this?
If you do not believe the answer is a resounding “yes” when evaluating one of your bras, feel free to dispose of the item or save it for wearing around the house. Make sure to go to your favorite lingerie store and get a proper bra fitting to ensure that you are buying and wearing the correct size your body and bust size.
Another one of the fashion mistakes that women make is not choosing the correct underwear for a particular outfit. Especially when wearing tight-fitting items, or those made of a thinner fabric, one should avoid types of underwear (such as boyshorts or lacy panties) that cause clothes to cling to you or create obvious underwear lines. The goal is to create your look over a seamless foundation that you and your personality can give off the best version of yourself.
5. Wrong color mixing
Gurls we always do this cause we want to be noticed or Not look dull.
Colors have meanings and how thy should be mixed. There are cool, dull and bright Colors. All of then have the way of missing them. Gurl forget Pink, its not always You keep looking Pinky and bright. Some dull Colors too are cool when mixed.
Gold and silver can be mixed perfectly on the dress or your jewelries. Mixed Colored prints are very cool too. Red is not always for dinner, You can wear that to even a wedding. Avoid matching even thing You wear with a single Color. One bold Color at a time is Also cool but not always, mix It. Horizontal strips too are cool for tailor gurls, short gurls should never wear that. Black and with is not always for official dresses, You can wear a white simple top with a Black pants for casual outing too.
There are lot gurls, just Avoid bright Colors too much in your mixture and dull Colors like brown should be Avoided. Check out this color combinations below.

6. You dont study your Body type
It takes a real woman of grace to confront and own up to her body. There are a lot of things we all want to wear, but it’s most important to find the right piece that accentuates your body. For example, when buying culottes or midi skirts, consider where the garment cuts off.
You never want it to cut off on the widest part of your calves. My rule of thumb is to go just under the knees or 3/4 of the way down. Also, when wearing cropped trousers or jeans, make sure the hem cuts off above the ankle. If you go at the ankle or just an inch off the ground, you may end up looking like you’re wearing high waters. Us shorter gals will also want to pair these kinds of crops with heels!
7. Shoes blunders
A size too small, a size too big, is it worth the pain? What’s the point of buying a fly pair of shoes if you can’t walk properly in them? Wearing the wrong shoe size or wrong type of shoe is never good for your feet. If you’re not comfortable walking in heels, go for something you’re accustomed to. It’s better to wear something you’re accustomed to than walking like a toddler learning how to walk. Give it a rest gurl.
8. You are Trying too hard
Simple styling is really what you should be following, which means knowing how to take pieces you like and making them look chic without being trendy, comfy without being messy, and vaguely sexy without being overt.
9. Not dressing for the occasion
Always know the environment and dress accordingly. The worst thing is to be under or over dressed for a situation. When in doubt, always inquire about the dress code prior to an event so you can plan ahead! Not only will you look awkward, but you will feel awkward – and when that happens, it totally kills the mood. That being said, when in doubt, slightly over dress.
10. You think sneakers are only for gym
As recent trends have proven, the right pair of sneakers can take you way beyond the gym. Between wedge sneakers, slip-on sneakers (a huge trend for fall), and the rise of top bloggers and fashion insiders rocking sporty Nikes, New Balance, and Adidas kicks with everything from sleek skirts to leather pants, it’s clear that when styled with dressier pieces, sneakers can add a modern twist to an outfit that’s not comprised solely of sweats.
11. You wear Too many accessories
I personally took a lot of Fashion advice from professionals, Oshi Concepts Mentioned to me that before You go out always spin in front of the mirror, the first thing that catches your eye has to go. Remember to much bling bling is not a cool thing.
12. You Think Long Hair Makes You More Attractive
This is a biggie: Far too many independent women want to experiment with new hairstyles, but believe that a mane of long hair makes them more attractive to themselves and to men. First of all, some of the most beautiful women in the world, including Scarlett Johansson, Beyoncé, and supermodel Jourdan Dunn have embraced sexy chops. Secondly, not every woman was born to have super-long hair. In fact, many women end up looking better with a cut that better showcases her features. Not to mention, shorter lengths can also make petite girls look taller, and curvier girls slimmer.
If you know Megan Good(on the picture above) very well then you well believe me. She is always with short hair and that gurl is a glow herself.
